Administrative services are provided at the Clay City Hall. The office is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. The phone number is 205-680-1223. This office will help with public document requests, meeting agendas, permits, accounts payable, business license, meeting minutes and accounts receivable.
Public notices are posted inside City Hall, the Clay Post Office, Senior Activity Center and Regions Bank in Chalkville.
Staff:
Andrea Self is an administrative assistant, helping with public works requests, business licenses and permits.
Ronnie Dixon is the city manager / city clerk / treasurer.
Susan Nelson oversees accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Mayor Charles Webster can be found at City Hall most of the time during business hours.
In 2012, the city of Clay purchased this building at less than half the original asking price. It houses clerks, mayor's office and inspections services.
