Areas of Responsibility-
Councilman Charles Webster is the liaison with the City of Clay
Park and Recreation Board.
Personal-
I was born in Chalkville and have lived in the Clay area my entire life. I graduated high school from Hewitt Trussville in 1972. That
is where I met my high school sweetheart, Carolyn Self Webster. We married in August 1972 and we have two sons, Scott and Timothy. I'm a Deacon at Clearview Baptist Church and have been a member since 1996. I feel God has led me to be a servant of people.
Education-
I graduated from masonry apprentice school.
Work:
I later taught apprentice school and worked as a superintendent. I went from that to becoming a salesman for a block manufacturer and then to sales manager.
I was one of about ten that helped start Clay Recreation Association in 1981 and served as president the 3rd year. I coached and umpired for about 10 years. I love people, especially kids and senior citizens.
My mission is to help lead Clay forward for the benefit of all the citizens. |
