This committee is currently reviewing the 2009 audit.
In the past few months, the Committee has been overseeing reorganizing the financial record-keeping to adhere to standard accounting procedures for municipalities.
Soon, this Committee plans to start working on a budget for fiscal 2011.
Committee Function-
The City of Clay Finance Committee advises the Clay City Council on matters relating to the city's financial affairs and any ordinances that might help protect the citizenry and property values.
They meet the second Monday of the month at City Hall at 6 p.m.

Mayor Ed McGuffie is the liaison between the finance committee and the Clay City Council.
