The City of Clay Finance Committee advises the Clay City Council on matters relating to the city's financial affairs and any ordinances that might help protect the citizenry and property values.
Earlier in 2009, the committee reviewed the city's 2008 audit. They are now working on forming at 2010 fiscal year budget. The City of Clay fiscal year starts on October 1.
They meet the second Monday of the month at City Hall at 6 p.m.

Mayor Ed McGuffie is the liaison between the finance committee and the Clay City Council.
