In reading the following information, this Tornado Damage Map or directions of how to get to Clay may be helpful.

Volunteers: Due to the large response in the past, the city of Clay is no longer managing volunteers. If this changes, we will make an announcement on Facebook


Donations: Anyone wanting to help tornado survivors with monetary donations can do this through SouthPoint Bank. Please write checks to "Clay Chalkville Christian Relief Inc." and send to P.O. Box 102, Clay, AL 35048 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Donations can be made in person at the Colonnade, Gardendale and Trussville SouthPoint Bank branches or at Clay City Hall.

If you would like to make a donation to the city of Clay to help with the clean up costs, please make the check out to City of Clay and send to 6757 Old Springville Road, Pinson, AL 35126.

The Recovery Center is no lonter accepting donations.


Food: As of February 26, all local churches discontinued offering meals to survivors and volunteers. If this changes, we will post it on Facebook


Lost and Found: Items found that may belong to tornado suvivors should be put in a plastic bag, if possible, and brought to City Hall.
