In the February 1 meeting, the City Council approved paving four roads in the Chestnut Hills subdivision. The four roads are Timber Trail, Chestnut Lane, Redwood Lane and Beechwood Trail.
Every six months, the Public Works Department uses some of the tax money collected from taxes on fuel, commonly called "Gas Tax," and paves more roads. This systematic method is intended to address the roads most in need at the time and prevent the City from being burdened later with many roads in desperate need of repair or repaving all at once.
If you know of a road that needs repair, contact Lynn Burch at 680-1223.
