 The City of Clay and Clay Area Chamber of Commerce are jointly hosting the 2010 Clay May Days. This year's festival is sure to be fun with many activities developed around the theme that our city is named after clay soil.
Come paint a clay pot, watch a local potter form pots on a wheel, mold something out of clay to take home, make jewelry out of clay beads, get a clay facial, listen to a story about clay, listen to an Indian artifact collector tell of the pottery fragments he found in our city or dance with the Dancing Clay Man to get candy. Many other activities are planned.
Additionally, carnival rides will be available for a fee and a band will entertain.
