Recent Work:
Recently, State Representative Allen Treadaway gave $2,000 to the center. The board has been discussing the best use for these funds. So far, the board has decided some of the money should be spent on printers, kitchen supplies and more games
The board recently made adjustments to the hours and cost for renting the center.
The board has also been searching for new trips and activities that are more appropriate for the physical limitations of the gradually aging membership.
One of the center's accomplishments is the continuous computer training that is provided to seniors, such as email, Internet browsing and research.
