Renting the Facilities:
The center is available for rent for $100 for five hours. Renter must comply with the rules in the user agreement.

Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Call to verfy the center is open on a particular day as it is occasionally closed because the seniors have gone on a fun trip.

Services:
The Clay Senior Activity Center, under the direction of Linda Love, is recognized regionally for its outstanding program that includes a wide variety of activities, entertainment and trips. The center provides a place where any senior adult can find a friend, a listening ear and a warm hug.

Because of its favorable reputation, the center draws seniors from many surrounding communities. It also provides a wealth of knowledge and support for the many concerns of today’s seniors, including dementia caregiver support.

We serve a hot lunch each day for only $1.50. Anyone age 60 or older can join. Average attendance is 30. The center offers ClassTran transportation to the center for current members but is not able to offer this to new members at this time.

Some come to learn more about computers, some come to socialize, and some come to beat their peers at a game of cards or Bingo.

A pool table and a Ping Pong table are at the center, along with excercise equipment.

The City of Clay Seniors Advisory Board discusses matters related to the center and make recommendations to the Clay City Council.
